Evaluation Plan
Evaluation Plan: How will you evaluate your program? In other words, what data will
you collect to see whether or not you have met your goals/objectives? Include a timeline
for when you will conduct the evaluation. (4 points)
Evaluation is an essential process, which is part of project management. Evaluation would assist in developing results and evaluating whether the goals and objectives were met as expected, for instance, whether students were trained. Social workers increased to sustain the health demands of the youth between the age of ten to eighteen in the Bronx.
The project evaluation process is a four-phase process that involves activities, such as planning, implementing, completion, dissemination, and reporting, where all the phases are unique based on what is evaluated. Th explaining process is the first and crucial part of the process, which focuses on stakeholders and the programs’ goals. The planning process determines the clarity of the designed goals and objectives and the methods used to determine the project’s need and requirement, such as conducting research. Determining people who have an interest in the project, such as other agencies, is essential, especially in promoting the attainment of the designed goals, an increase of credibility, as well as addition of participants in the project, for instance, the need of mental health experts, and other professionals in the first of sociology, and psychology. Other stakeholders include the community residents, schools, the public, and community-based agencies interested in the health interests of children. Understanding the cultural diversity of the Bronx community is one of the s essential factors that are considered in the evaluation process. Evaluation during program implementation assesses the availability of the thirty-three intended participants, use of training materials, clarity of the educational goals and curriculum, accuracy, ad adherence to the agency’s standards. On the other hand, the evaluation team evaluates whether the timeline was well utilized and the processes and, such as the art projects, were well coordinated by social workers and interns. Formative and process evaluation is vital and would assist in ensuring the community and people put in place for the work have promoted the program’s ultimate success based on the scheduled time and budget.
Completing the project and evaluating the outcome is the most crucial part of the evaluation that summarizes the project’s performance, sustainability, and efficiency. Evaluation of outcome mainly targets the social conditions the program was designed to change, such as improve on health and promote health accessibility, train students on skills and knowledge that assist in coping with children at risk, and how to deal with LGBTQ and mental health victims. In addition, however, the evaluation process focuses on the number f people who received an education, training services, change in attitude or behavior of the students, and how the education assisted the community. A CBPR conceptual model template assists in evaluating the program’s outcome, which reviews the use of partnership and impacts of partnering with other agencies and assisting in developing an evaluation plan. Evaluation of the outcome evaluated the long-term, and short term effects of the program, especially the purpose and need for the designed program, such as increasing social workers, and how the increase will impact the future, and assist address the underlying health condition, especially mental health among the ten-year-old to eighteen years old.
After evaluating the program, dissemination and reporting to the necessary audience are vital through a dissemination plan, which is mainly developed at the project planning stage. The dissemination process involves providing results to the public, especially the residents of Bronx, through several articles, which must be well understood considering the culture and the most commonly used languages, which are not English. However, the dissemination should be balanced and equal, which assists in building capacity among stakeholders and s promotion of equality among the lack, Hispanic, and white residents of the Bronx.
However, the implementation of the program is evaluated, especially in ensuring the process was well conducted according to the expectations and designed goals.
The type of data that will make me know whether the goals and objectives are achieved includes the number of students trained, the changes made and development of the curriculum to fit the required educational goals, and whether mental health cases have been reduced in the community. However, the data collected is concerned with the program’s impacts and how the program has played a positive role. The evaluation process will be conducted for one week after the program implementation to give room for changes and any correction identified during the implementation process.
Future Funding Plans
Exploring and applying for many funding opportunities would play a vital role in preventing future issues, especially when it comes to continuity of the program when the current funder attains three years. The W.Guy project is a social project with a wide range of funding opportunities, both from public and private organizations. As a social innovator, global innovation funds would be an excellent opportunity for the project, which assists in funding programs that handle social issues, such as health issues and other ideas that improve people’s well-being. The good thing about the global innovation funds is that the organization funds projects in all stages of investments through the provision of loans, grants, and equity. The funds provided range between fifty thousand dollars to fifteen million shillings, which may be enough for future projects considering the current projects only required two hundred thousand dollars. Therefore, the global innovation funds can act as the best funding option, especially for large-scale projects.
Additionally, crowdfunding I another newly introduced opportunity, or rather the method of funding a project that can e a good choice for the project in the future. Crowdfunding involves sourcing money online from people with the same interest, where money is exchanged chiefly for various rewards. Crowdfunding is a basic form of getting funds, which mainly uses a social platform, such as IndieGoGo, and Kickstarter through engagement in a conversation, that promoted the provision of funds, such as discussing issues in the society and how people can assist in solving the issue, such as the issue of mental health among the youths. Other finding opportunities include the use of the European Commission and the young foundation. The young foundation would be the best for the project since the project targets youths between the age of ten to eighteen. Other funding platforms, ad opportunities include UNICEF, which provides grants, and venture capital(VC). Also, google Org provide community grants, which would assist the project to invite some people into funding the project, where the promotion provides a platform for projects to stand out and win more than five hundred thousand dollars, according to the nature and the competence of the project in terms of impact to the society. How will you get future funding?
The funds would rely on assisting in developing the program and creating more significant, effective, and impactful goals that would assist in enhancing health care and addressing the root cause of the problem. For instance, solutions to address poverty, discrimination, and low-quality education in Bronx. Also, the funding processes would assist in collaborating with other more extensive and developed agencies, such as the world health organization, in providing food to public schools to avoid dropping out of school, underlying disease.
