For question 1, you can start by researching the different theories of motivation such as self-determination theory, achievement goal theory, and social cognitive theory. You can then use this knowledge to create an exercise adherence program that takes into account the person’s lack of motivation and overweight status. It’s important to consider the individual’s goals and how to motivate them to continue, even when they don’t see immediate results. Additionally, you can research different techniques for increasing motivation, such as goal-setting, positive reinforcement, and self-efficacy.
Question 2 involves listing the seven basic human emotions and providing personal examples of how each emotion plays a role in emotional management and preparation. You can start by researching the seven basic emotions, which are happiness, sadness, fear, anger, surprise, disgust, and contempt. You can then reflect on your own experiences and how you have managed these emotions in different situations, such as before a big game or competition.
Question 3 involves working with a client who is a perfectionist and is experiencing burnout. You can research different techniques for working with perfectionists, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques. You can then research different techniques for working with athletes who are struggling with motivation, such as goal-setting, positive reinforcement, and self-talk.
Question 5 involves reflecting on your own intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. You can start by researching the differences between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and how they impact performance. You can then reflect on your own experiences and identify which type of motivation drives you in your sport or physical activity.
